ZTE and MTN South Africa present 5G use cases at AfricaCom 2019

ZTE and MTN South Africa presented an ultra-high speed 5G network with a real rate of more than 1,678 Gbps, which will support a variety of applications, such as multi-gigabit mobile connection, Augmented Reality / Virtual Reality (AR / VR ), HD Voice, UHD live broadcast, 3D video, emergency service and self-driving cars.

In addition, the demonstration featured local 5G holographic communication in real time, bionic robot, AR / VR and other application cases, fully showing the capabilities of the 5G network, as well as the commitment of ZTE and MTN to explore 5G development in Africa.
